In 1990, David began his Djing in his hometown of Monterey, California,at the After Dark. As his popularity grew past the boundaries of Monterey. He was invited to establish a residency at Tilt, and Sound Factory, in San Francisco, in 1992. As David's popularity continued to grow he started at Lift @ DV8. David joined Bay Area legendary DJ, Pete Avilaand host Foxxee Brown on 'Your Mama's House' on the Bay Area's popular radio station KMEL FM. Also during that year, David established a residency at San Francisco's legendary Club Universe @ 177 Townsend. His most current residencies include Fag Fridays @ the EndUp and Taboo @ Liquid, which he produces.
David Harness has quickly become one of the most well-known and popular DJ's in the San Francisco Bay Area club scene. David's popularity continued to soar, taking him around the world and the opportunity to play with New York's Legendary DJ's, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Little Louie Vega, Tedd Patterson, Dave Morales, London's Ricky Morrison, Danny Teneglia, Marques Wyatt- to name a few. He has appeared in articles and interviews in Billboard Magazine, Paper Magazine, Surface, XLR8R, Urb, Streetsounds, Sweater, HX, Next and the Bay Guardian.
